MacroAuckland is co-authored by Deb Schwarz and Auckland University of Technology Professor Charles Crothers.

Deb Schwarz

Co-author Deb Schwarz  completed her BA/LLB at the University of Auckland and has over eight years experience working, volunteering and consulting for not-for-profit organisations. Deb has travelled around the world and each time she returns, feels very fortunate to call Auckland home.

Professor Charles Crothers

Co-author Charles Cothers is the Head of the Economics and Social Statistics Unit at Auckland University of Technology and a co-editor of New Zealand Sociology.  He was previously President of the New Zealand Sociological Association.  Charles has published an extensive range of book chapters, articles, reports and conference papers both locally and internationally.  He has an eclectic, diverse range of research interests and a wealth of knowledge about Auckland research.
